I love the angel. It's the most readable and true to original (in my oppinion) at x1. But overall absolutely fantastic. I just wish shinji's shirt and (err i forget her name) the blond woman's coat read better.

Thanks :) and I suppose its because of Firefox but that blurs for me so I prefer having a 2nd row (and I've posted it on other sites, but that's not a good excuse as a simple crop job is all thats needed :B)

They look pretty good. 
But there's no need to create the second row, we've got a zoom in feature here.

Yeah, as far as what I read these are too tall and many have too many colors per sprite to be useable in an NES game. How in the world people ever made sprites for that system is beyond me. My brain isn't capable of that level of simplicity lol.and thank you :)

If you'd make real NES game, you'd probably have even smaller canvas of 24 pixels high - more would produce unnecssary flicker.
And these good! Small sprites is what pixelart about in the first place.
