"Daydreaming about 'a better future', but leaving the present in such a frigid state..." For the Pixel Challenge, 'Show Yo Emoness', in SEGA Genesis style. I started out cheating like mad, using low-sat colors until I decided to play fairer than ever and stick the saturation at maximum, like they did it in the not-so-old 16-bit days. It's messy. I still need more training!
