I found it in my storm cellar so I beat it with a shovel and tied it up!!!

hahaha, I love your description!
Your piece reminds me vaguely of The Scream. I'm not sure why...
As for c+c: Where are his arms? If they are under the ropes, then it doesn't read well. It looks like he's armless (which could be the case, I guess).
