It started off with me wanting to make some abstract comic thing, but I didn't get past the drawing-boxes stage...and it kind of evolved from there.
I tried to make each coloured square have a different style as well as being a different 'experiment' mostly based around design elements/priciples.
Colourwise, red, green and blue are the building blocks of how colours are displayed on a screen. So those colours were an obvious choice, even if they are extremely 'eye burning'. However, I tried to keep red and blue away from eachother, I think that would've just be too eye-burning. Also, if you notice, the colour that is written in each box is not actually displayed within that box.
With the positioning of the coloured blocks I tried to make them gradually more sparse further down the image, giving it a kind of meta-dithering effect.
That's pretty much it. Hope it answered some questions.
