Definitely an improvement over your earlier works. As skeddles said, this piece would be better if you cut back on the dithering a little. =)

I don't understand the palette, the green should get more saturated as it gets lighter, but yours is gray. You should also cut down on dithering, it's really not needed. All I can is that you should try studying the work of other artists.

I think the break was good for you, this is a huge improvement.

How about some AA around the eyes and mouth?
