I sooooo want to create a C64 game. Maybe this could become something?

A platformer action adventure.

EDIT: Resaved to work with IE

EDIT 2: New version.

Updated pic with new version.
I think it's a bit more readable now. Although, I would like to have black bricks somewhere in the game.

Scroller and sprite multiplexor implemented now. Working on main character movement. This is so much fun!

I know what you mean.  I'm making an entire game using Amstrad CPC colors/widepixel res. Sometimes you just can't get a close enough color for what you need, but ya make do and in the end it likely just looks good anyways.

Aree. I'm redoing the bricks to have a more toned down appearance. Think I'll leave the 'floor' as it is though, hard to find the perfect luminance in the colors available.

I think it's good but I think the white on the tiles is a little over done and seems to distract from the sprites.

you definitely need to make this into a game and then port it to GBA

tomic: Resaved, seems to work now. So the original save in Gale doesn't do IE png. Good to know. Thanks.

asukicco: Yeah, they rock, don't they? :)

Jim16: Thanks. My coder fingers are itching. Really need to do a proper game of this. :)
