This is the functional title screen of the steampunk game I am working on, 'The Clockworld War'. It is composed of 4 screenshots to show the animation, and this is roughly the speed that it animates at (if you're viewing this in Firefox, at least).
Resolution for the game is 256x224, the same as the SNES, and all sprites are designed at this 1x scale, however, the final output is upscaled by 2x during play (512x448) so it's bigger and pixelated like in the golden age (16-bit era). Thanks to Carnivac at http://carnivac.co.uk/ for the upscaling code.
Please do not use any of this content in your own projects; aside from the occasional scripting help, I am the sole programmer and artist for this game, and have put a lot of energy into it. Thanks.

This particular screen is even a bit lower in frame rate than most of the intentionally choppy animations, though; it's supposed to feel a fairly sluggish and unrushed - it's fairly contrasting compared to the gameplay. It's a bit more understandable when you can hear the soundtrack to this screen, it's a slower track with flutes, strings and a breeze in the background; kind of relaxing.
