The title pretty much says it all. Its based on a gasmask. I want to make a transition into a more pixel-art style rather than d/p, and I would love some tips on how to do it.

d/p seemed pixel-artsy enough for me. I guess you could hue shift more and use colored or no outlines.
But it looks very well done as it is. Make an evolution. :)
