The old woman try and try again to convince the townsfolk to help her. After all, her plants are the only way she can make a living, but it's no use, the townsfolk only see her as a crazy old hag.
"The only way to make them believe me, if I have some proof", she thought to herself.
That night, she set up a trap for the monster with her plants that have the strongest odor. Usually the ones that about the bloom. She brings her film camera with her and she hid behind the bushes in her backyard.
The full moon shines brightly behind her as she hears the rustle of the bushes in front of her. A shadow, as big as a young bear draws near.
Little by little, the moon reveal what the shadow actually is. First a horn, then two, then three. Then an eye, and a pig like nose. Its tail swinging like a happy puppy.
After she's sure the whole body of the beast are revealed she press the button and her camera flash burst and startled the beast.
The next day, she was the talk of the day with her newly developed black and white film of the beast.
"here's your proof", she said with a winning smile.
She handed the picture to the mayor, and said, "so, will you be a dear, and hunt this beast down before there's nothing left of my precious plants?"
