Wow, that's cool. I think the reason the castle doesn't seem to be connected to the landscape is the large difference is brightness. Why is the landscape so dark yet the castle evenly lit?

I like the pixels!! I would hate it as a signature on a forums (can't stand large signatures that make it impossible to find what people are actually typing rather than cluttering up the threads with pointlessly large sig files</rant>)Anyway. .. great lighting effects!

Very nice.The lighting that the fire creates is excellent.
One thing that I see is that the towers of the castles need more texture. Add some outlines of bricks.
Also, the castle doesn't seem connected enough to the landscape. Try adding some vines climbing the walls of the castle or something of that nature.
