You really need to make a full on building/scene whatever that expands upon that wall/foliage/awesomeness you got going on.

I like absolutely everything in this except for the water and roots.
They don't seem to match the style you've got going on elsewhere. Lower the saturation for the water, it should be less saturated and darker. Same with the roots and possibly the leaves.
