*PJ has a no pointless BG rule (FAQ page) unless there is areason for one. For example outer AA or some described design choice in the art descrition. Why? because Pixeljoint has many different color themes and BGs are distracting to the members. It is that way cuz its been that way, some exceptions are made here and there and you are on the lucky side on this one.
You can get Giffy from th FAQ page for free or use something like www.iaza.com to make transparents BGs.
***Senseless BGs are the #1 reason why a piece will sit waiting to be added since I can't possibly write this much every single time this happens (everyday, at least once).
