Very good mockup, I like the idea of making a shoot'em up with cartoon style. If this were a real game, the sun should be in the background, like some people said.
thank ye kindly good peoples. the sun was meant to be part of the background in game, but for aesthetic purposes of this mock up i made it a little more vibrant. :)
beautiful colours. with the sun being so vibrant in colour, I wonder, is it part of the background, or is it the foreground? can the green dragon bounce it for a stream of coins? :)

Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it. I agree fully with you guys too, there are so many great mockups that will never get put into motion.
I don't have any programming skills per se, but I'm pretty comfortable with the game creation tool MMF2 so whipping up a quick demo isn't a problem technically. The big problem as you said DJD is that it's tough to finish a project when you have so many ideas floating around.
Don't fear though guys, I do have full intentions of turning this, and a few other things into fully playable demos. Please be patient is all I ask. 
I want to play it.
