I don't know which program you use, but I use imageready, and this image should explain it very well:

And still, not sure which program you're using, but if there's any chance that you're using Imageready, this is all needed to know.

ImageReady en CS2 o 3 deja otras capas abiertas cuando cambias el arte o las capas un poco.
Esto me pasa a mi tambien. Llo 'save as' una nueva file y despues empiezo limpio, muy extrano antes IR no hace esto :/

perdona, lo del pico te refieres a que sea mas claro que el plumaje no? si es eso es que queria forzarlo a los minimos colores posibles...(de todas maneras quiza sea una buena idea :-))
