Guido Anchovy, Polly Esther, Speedy Cerviche, a Ninja Crow and the Big Cheese in NES colors. Anyone else remember this show?

Glad I'm not the only one to remember it :D

I loved the shit out of that show too back in the days.
Especially those finishing moves, and of course the giant robots :D

I had this game and rom. It was called Ninja Cat.

I watched this show way too much as a kid.  So underrated, it's tough to find others who remember it.  Much love.

I found out about this show only recently. It's extremely funny :p

Pretty awesome job on the sprites, as well.

Found it :) Pretty cool with all the characters you can switch too.

And not at all, it makes me want to try a mockup with some actual restrictions though. Thanks for the info.

Game is called Kyatto Ninden Teyandee. There's also translated version floating around.

Your version is interesting - more european and MSXy than in FC game - I think you'd draw different if you'd seen the game first.

Hope I haven't spoiled anything if you wanted to draw something on this theme in the future.

I never knew there was an official game for this.  Must find a rom somewhere. And the names in the description match the sprites in the same order, if you were wondering.

And I'll try to do something about the stiffness by breaking them a bit from the 16x32 grid I started out with, thanks

I totally loved Famicom/NES game based on this show - graphics, music, controls - every aspect was awesome! But I watched only pair episodes of anime, so I hardly can tell who is who.
