I don't have a problem with that. To me, it looks like those parts are thrown away (like it should, right?) and I also love the explosion, it looks really smooth indeed.
the fire and smoke is good, but my only complaint is the black bts on the side they comeout wards and they just disapear. it looks a bit odd, thats all.
