I don't particularly like the outline around the sun though.

I dither in a similar style (though circles not squares) so I am fond of this!

Very cool style and I love the concept of shadows reaching out for sunlight!

Don't be afraid, though, to play around with different hues - this can make an already awesome piece even more awesome. I made a little bit of an edit :)
