A skin in Super Mario War (SMW) is the BMP file that contains the diferent stances of each character. Me as a pixel-art fan and SMW fan, decided to make many skins for the game and some of theme are these ones. Why not to submit all my characters? Cause I just decided to post only the custom ones I made. Thanks! ^_^

Thank you very much! Your comments are great and very useful for next works! ^_^ Some character only muve their arms and legs cause they must be made in only 16x16 pixels (then amplifyed) and that's so few space to pixel art.
If you wanna play with those characters (and much more) I invite you to play Super Mario War. SMW is a pretty fun game with a lot of advantages: portable, freeware, retro stytle, customizable, multiplayer and much more.
I love these! You got a lot of motion and personality into just two frames of animation per character. Some of them work better than others but they're really fun to look at overall. For the humanoid characters I would recommend making one of their frames show the legs lined up together like they're passing each other, rather than just showing the feet a couple pixels apart in the two frames. I'd love to see more like these!
very nice. I like voltorb and goku, It's really cool just to look at all the movement in this peice, my only crit is that some characters are bouncing, and others are just standing, with their arms and legs moving. 6/7 for creativity and effort.
