Being more interested in the c64 palette and general design, I haven't really played around much with the NES palette so I thought I'd give it a try here. While I generally don't like some of the redundant colors in the palette (and the abundance of purplish shades) I am fairly happy with how these turned out. I used the original Super Mario Bros. mini Mario as a size reference and went from there, but for some reason displaying him was a problem so I removed it :).
These are quick once-overs, but I hope you like them!

Manning- Thanks! They're not actually changing heights, though, just outfits. I thought it would be interesting if somehow the characters could switch some native abilities they had to solve puzzles (mario's ability to pluck items faster, luigi's higher jump). It's not something I've seen done before, either way!
It's interesting to see an alternate version where Mario is taller than Luigi! Good designs, and I really like the super saturated highlights on the bricks.
Hey, I know it's just for reference purposes, but could you please remove the real Mario from this piece. We like everyone to have just their own work displayed in their gallery. If you want to show size comparison you can link to an external image showing the difference in size between the original and your own. Thanks.
