This is going to be the game over screen for a game me and a few friends are working on (takes place in the Megaman X universe). My little brother and I actually collaborated on this. I did the character design, but I asked him to sketch him out (he's probably better than I am when it comes to illustration). After he finished the first sketch, we took turns reworking the lines. Then I did all the shading, and the simple background. Initially, I wanted the light to come from below; and I think it is doing that effectively to an extent in some places. But there where a few parts I wasn't too sure on... but, since he's wearing armor, I could play around with the light a bit. If you guys see anything odd about some of the lighting though, please let me know! C+C? (Also, the large character sprite has 16 colors, and the background has 16 (17 including a transparent color, but that's THE background, so I'm not counting it. :P)) EDIT: Also, I didn't include the text because it isn't really pixel art. :P

Very boring background, and the hand to the left has not the same angle as the right. Looks quite odd.

The lighting does seem inconsistent, especially on his arms. I think you should rework some of the shading, even if it's a bit difficult. The lines are great, though. The only thing is his right hand seems to be at an odd angle.
