When I said one colour for gold, I kept in mind how similar the dark tone was with the skin tone.
The point of choosing a colour pallet is so that it can be used for more than one thing. If not it would be pointless and extremly hard to get what you want.
I myself thought that 16 wasn't enough. But I utilized the time given and spent 5 days getting colour right. I have no issue with how it looks, but rather the ethics of the whole thing.
Then again at this point I really can't be bothered to post on this much more., as I know that the chances of any of us winning or getting any where in this challenge are minamal, due to the amount of talent that have entered this challenge.
Fit the rules....stuff the rules. the point of a challenge is to think ahead and to be....Well challenging. So really all you've done is defeat the objective of a challenge. I do feel that I'm attacking you morally, and for that I apologise, as there are many others that have added mindless colours to "FINISH" a piece.
But I do feel that I make a valid point. As many have worked hard to get a working pallet, for many a day. And if we did the same, just imagine how quick and pointless this challenge would be.
Again I apologies for my directed and moral attack.
Yes I agree that most of the colours were wasted on AA, but i wanted to do this idea, that was really simple and stylised, and the colour restriction (or requirement) just didn't fit in the design (and i couldn't just throw it away). In my favor i must say this piece looks really smooth , specially in comparison with others in the callenge. I think than that fits perfect to the style of the piece. Without the colour requirement this piece would have less colours.
yes, however I feel that most of those colours were wasted...and went where exactly? I should count 3 max for bandana, 2 for skin tones, 1 for beard, and 1 for gold, 2 for eyes. Thats about 9 colours that you can use to get the same result!
in my opinion this is a wast of your talent, and does not show your true potential. All and all, I'm going to say good idae, but overall crap on your behalf.
Others might not agree with me, but its my opinion and I think you could do way better!
