"Von Bödefeld and the social smile"

Von Bödefeld was a puppet in the German version of the Sesame Street sometime in the nineties. He offered his name for a short-lived singer-songwriter project of a friend of mine, for whom I created this CD artwork. I found this file today, as a JPEG, eleven times in size. I cut it down and upload it here now.

Now my friend makes music under the name "The Shelves Collapse":

The reason why not is as simple as frustrating:

Sadly, there is no easy way of cleaning up a file that's been saved as a jpeg.

Anyway, I don't want to sound too harsh, but honestly I think you should just try to focus on creating something entirely new. You don't have to submit every old piece you find on your hard drive!

I can already see from your new pixelart that you've improved greatly since these old pieces, so why not to move forward and create some more art from scratch? How about making a calendar page for the weekly challenge?

This still has a lot of jpeg artifacts! It also has 1060 colours. =/
