Done for Opacus, for the yearly Christmas Secret Santa activity, held at Pixelation. Was great fun to do, and a good warm up. Haven't pixeled in a while. For those confused, Opickus' (tee hee hee) liked robots, Gundams, Post apocalyptic stuff, and Zelda...I tried to add that all in there. For this piece I didn't keep track of the palette very well, so there's a lot of colors in there. Also wanted to practice at perspective, so I tried the whole Vanishing point. Multiple vanishing points always confused my simple mind for some reason, so I established the vanishing point, pretty much dead center of the giant Gundam's eyes, so to centralize the piece's main focal point, so the viewer can kinda' see what Link's seeing. Whether I succeeded or failed, that was my original intention. If I did mess up some where, I'm always up for critique... Was great fun though...MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!! FELIZ NAVIDAD, Y GOD JUL!!

Yes. I wanted to make him asymmetrical at first, but realized it would be too much of a time waster. So I opted to draw as much as one half as I could, then mirrored his other side, and edited the full body afterward...time was a factor. : )

I think some AA might help with the hard lines. 'hard lines', lol.
I love it, it's great... Have to agree... Find it hard to believe that his knee has more detail than his crotch...

This is really amazing. One thing I noticed and did not like was his groin region. There is so much detail and shading everywhere else, and then you get to this point and it looks..how can I say this..TOO pixeled. I think some AA might help with the hard lines. Great job though, this is really a great piece.

But the preview does no justice.

Your robot isn't brightly coloured enough to be a gundam, but other than that a frikken awsome job. I especially like Link's robotic arm.
