My fascination with Fool continues. This is based on an old doodle I drew while working at a day camp. I've wanted to pixel it for a while, and this current "free your hard drive" challenge gave me a chance to do another entry to the April Fool's Gallery II. Fun to do (yeah, I know, there's too many colors, but I'm too tired to optimize it ATM) Edit: Forgot to add my reference pic Pixeljoint's first repeat challenge is to again go to another member's gallery study their pixels and fool us into thinking that person made it. No copies, only 100% original work. Think style, technique and artistic sensibility. You must name the pixel artist in your submission.
No real rules this week but find the parameters set by the artist you choose. This applies to general size, color choices and don't forget to pay attention to preview icons.
Hey guys, thanks for all your comments! @Jeremy: Yeah, I had a lot of trouble with the briefcase. Since that face is entirely flat, I wasn't sure how to treat it, so I just gave it that sorta texture. @Zi-Double: Arg, you're right, the perspective is off on the case. I'll try and do an edit sometime, maybe with a background added as well. @Blick and KoG: Yeah, I love the title of those books. I don't know if I read them when I was younger; I had some frog sorta books, I think.
