Ha.... This is finally through!
Whenever I see this it always looks out of proportion?
I updated my previous message before I read your latest, so there are more explanation. Basically anything can offend anyone.
Possibly here we need to divide speaking about this piece and speaking about general rules.
It fits into current chatterbox discussion, so I'll make a link to this entry.
Personally I usually crop preview that way that most hidden inside. But when I feel that would look on preview better. In the Winter UFOs (my latest piece) preview would be misleading or look too strange if I cut it another way so I left it with breasts that are fully exposed. And ofcourse I would not put any 'censored' label - I think it loks a lot dirtier than the picture it tries to hide and because I don't understand from whom and for what reason I need to censor it.
Also I think that pictures with violence and scary things are more worthy some stickers, but I think that placing them would just bring unnecessary attention.
When you go to museum or gallery you don't see any censor lines on pictures. If they were placed, it would make pics more raunchy than they really are.
This piece is already sexually suggestive by using openly sexual, even fetish, attributes (foremost whip), so nipples are not most 'scary' thing. It's not against laws, it hardly would make sad anybody so there's no need for any censorship.
dunno, i feel like i've seen this somewhere before but don't wanna spent 5 hours searching my art fantastix books. hajime sorayama maybe? could you post your reference?
There's a problem with choice of tones and colors so that her right leg is barely readable on the background (ball) of nearly the same colour, but the rest is a nice picture.
