You should try fixing the (our) right side of his cheek, as it looks like he's putting the flute in his mouth and it's bulging because of that. Perhaps make it somehow more round and not so aligned with the flute. Nice concept and pretty nice pixel over all!
I like the concept really creative, but the shading could really use some work especially on Ash's vest/shirt thing he uses, as well as the dithering could use some improvement, but I like it
