Quality, not quantity. You're going to need to learn how to take harsh comments, not everyone is nice. They're just trying to make a major point. On some of your works so far, I've seen you say "I am a beginner, I know what I'm doing". If you're still a beginner, read some tutorials, practice, look at pictures and all that stuff. Don't submit EVERY piece you do. Just keep practicing until you feel you have improved a lot.
I am a beginner and i know what i am doing dude. You just piss off i don't need your comments anyways i am listening to the other people commented here and also the great scamcore his advices are really helpful.
Ah...ok....it's just i am learning from every art so just shut up and learn to talk nicely to people or else they would hate you. if you wanna give critics then say it nicely dude.
stop making non-pixel art doodles and aim for something more elaborated than a 5 minutes sketch. read, learn, practice, instead of flooding the queque with poorly executed technique-wise pieces.
Ah.....ok....but it was not a lame excuse cause i made it without considering a anatomy rather then a portrait . Also thats my art and i know more then what i am making so anatomy doesn't count.
Also what critics do you have so i could improve and update it again ?
anatomy always count, specially for cartoon characters. stop giving lame excuses and start practicing and asking for feedback onthe Wip section of the forums if you really want to learn about pixel art.
Thanks for your comments redshrike, It is a pixel art but i just made it without using any dithering and any reference picture. Also the anatomy does not count because its a cartoon character.
It's an interesting piece, and the composition is pretty cool. Still, the pixel work is pretty rough. I'm not sure if I'd really classify it as pixel art as defined by Pixel Joint. Each pixel doesn't seem to have been placed with care. The anatomy is also kinda off, though I'm no expert, so my comments on that wouldn't be too helpful. I would suggest that you try using a reference pic, though; it'll help with the lighting as well. This piece has potential, but I think that you should do some more work on it.
