No man, this whole thing is from gurren lagann. It kind of looks like he was trying to recreate the opening scene in episode one. I like the shadowy style and the sprite as a whole but I gota agree with them. The background doesnt look finished. Either change it or add something to fill in that black space.

Well I don't remember seeing anything in the PJ rules about having text in your piece that's not pixelated being against the rules. I'm also not changing the background because it is supposed to be like that and it's part of the atmosphere of the piece.

Also the white background looks like its not a part of the piece.

exactly. please remove the auto antialiased text from the image.

The text is not hand pixel and also the background feels like it over done.
