its basically on every graphics program you can find, what happends with this super dooper wicked cool tool is... you grab it, click somewhere, and POOF you have that color on your palette.

what is eye draw tool? is that something on photoshop or paint?

didnt know that using soo many colors is  bad, the eye dropper tool is there for a reason

i saved as PNG but it's because this was my first pixel art so i didn't know about the colors that much

why does this have 115 colours

This is a good start, I like the pose. To help with the contrast, basically you need to make your shades or shadows darker and your light parts lighter. Right now the colours are all too similar in value. As for the folds, honestly the best thing you can do is grab a pencil and paper and make studies of clothes. Just use a magazine, catalogue or even google will do. There's some excellent advice here: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14739 (scroll down a little for the clothes part.)

I only started pencil studies these last few months and I feel my art is progressing much faster because of them. After you've done a  few drawings of clothes you'll find you can easily transfer the skills to pixelling. Art fundamentals>pixel technique in my honest opinion, I only wish I realized this sooner. So take it from me, go draw.

For a first pixel that is pretty good.  The linework is good, but like it's been said you could deffinitley use contrast.  You probably dont need a tutorial for it. just make the colors stand out more.  You used plenty of greys when you shaded the pants but zoomed out it looks like two. All your greys are close to the same shade.

Actually, to b ur 1st sprite it is really really good (mine was real crap). I would change the face a lil bit (it looks kinda weird). I personally dont like using black while drawing the lineart, but i thinks thats up to u.

well, to b honest i cant give u really good advices, cause i dont really know much about the "theory" of pixeling :P. I do notice him pretty plain, try constrasting the colors more.

It's not a bad start, but I suggest studying some more pieces at the site if you get a chance. Work on your aa, as it will really help to smooth the piece out. And try to use a little more contrast, while at the same time defining your light sources a little better. Welcome to the site!
