heh, yeah i'm not sure how that jitter got into the ear - i think I accidentally edited the wrong frame some time in the revisions. It's one of the thing that will change when I update.

so you appreciate people taking care of kiddies huh? (...)
The animation itself improved a lot tough. Even if the right ear wiggles around like a chicken wing.
A lot of people are having trouble with the eyes and the suggestion is to add a head position where he actually turns to face more down and left (more like centered but you know what I mean). Edits may come shortly or longly depending on what we need in the course of production.
dogmeat : while I appreciate that you've edited your original comment for the kiddies, the sentiment remains agitative as well as unrelated to this piece. If you want to have a conversation about whatever caused you to write that, feel free to start one in the proper venue.
AWESOME work adarias, love the quick movements and determination on the goblins face. I would reeeeeeeeally like to see more of these characters. My one crit is his eye looks very strange when it goes back and forth in his socket, or maybe you tried it with no movement and it looked worse, anyways 6/8(thats really good from me)
Hmm maybe move his arm a pixel back for the recoil? Something really subtle. I mean you're right that they have pretty much no recoil, but imo it would look better with something rather than nothing.
EDIT: Just saw your latest on pixelation. Even better.
Hmm, I'm going to make one more update, got some crits elsewhere as well. My only question is, since simple crossbows have no recoil, should it spring forwards or backwards when he fires?
Arrrighty, i tweened him to 16. Wasn't sure about frame limitations when first posted but we've upped the anti! (on the theory that better art will motivate us more to draw and code the rest).
Was it primarily the fewer frames that made it sub-par or is there something else about the drawing level?
Awesome sprite. I really love the little details, like the drops of sweat when he pulls back the bolt. Adding a few more in between frames to the animation would probably do it good, as it's a bit choppy at the moment. But that's just a matter of taste I guess.
Once again, great sprite. Keep it up, your work never stops to inspire.
