Did you see if anyone was interested on the amiga english forum in developing it? o/w could batch convert images/animations and make it in game maker (it could do tall pixels).
Lava should light up rocks a bit but I guess maybe there were pallete restrictions.
Elend: Yes, I did the graphics for it and was gutted when it was never finished. I didn't think I had the original graphics, but after some searching I found I have the completed graphics on a CD.
I have all the intended music too. I suppose they could still be used, but they're all in tiles and the bobs are in Amiga iff/anim format. I'd hate to be the one to sort all that out!
Oooh... did you work on it? I remember seeing a preview in the Amiga Joker. I wondered why it was never released and was a bit sad about that. I wanted to play it badly. :D
(edit: Scaling artefacts are now fixed). Anyway, the ships are classic and the background sets the mood and is unobstrusive (a requirement for an enjoyable shoot-em up). It looks a bit dull at first, but it has its little skulls and bones.
