Well here is my hard work on this small art. I did my best and this is my first entry..and hopefully i maybe able to make more. The black background is meant to be there to give a dark background...

I quite like this. It reminds me of some art on an old Apple II graphic parser adventure. I think there is a pleasing amount of variety in shading and dithering, and the main bronze color is nice to look at and makes this piece feel earthy and ancient. I really do like looking at this piece. Thanks for sharing! Also is there anything in particular  that is meant to be depicted on this vase?

The line art is quite messy and wonky. I think it could be shading in a different way, so its not as flat. Plus what is the image on the Vase?

You have until Sunday and this is still extremely sloppy...I think you still have a lot of time to take this and play with it more, before submitting it. Smooth out your curves, clean up the lineart, perhaps add some more depth of shading [especially in the shadows], get a real reference and go all out.

why didnt you clean the curves in the lineart before shading it?
