This is pretty much my first completed non tiled pixel art. I've always just made tiles for games. I wanted to use 3 colours, cause I'm always using too many. I thought by making it with 3, I could be restricted and work with what I got. I was going to enter this in the challenge but I over read it and found out it had to be old, so anyway.
@Sharprm- I didn't do it that big cause I just wanted to start out on a 100x100, and as it is I didn't use all of the space. I actually thought I got the tubing right, guess not. And yeah I did a horrible job on the circles on the nose. I guess I could try go back and fix it. I chose the colours for the challenge but found it was for something old, so I just decided to continue, and I think it turned out well. Thanks Sharprm.
@Johnny303-Thanks, it wasn't easy referencing though, the left side was a pain. But I had fun doing it.
Good job to pull off detail in small sprite 3 colors.
If its no-longer for a challenge why not do the whole facemask? I'm not familiar with fallout so it looks like predator from what you've given.
The thing on the left side of his head needs an outline imo. Maybe more attention to the shapes of the circles on his nose and the tubes on the sides. Maybe 4 colors, black, white, de-saturated green, brighter de-saturated yellow could work better? Unless you like game boy type look.
Just awesome. Would you believe me if I tell you that I'm making the same image for a contest? LOL The only difference is that the contest is a hand-drawing one.
