A week ago I got a ZX Spectrum emulator working on my DS, I have since been using some of my [long] daily commute time to draw this image using Spectrum's own ArtStudio graphics editor. I do realize that the scene lacks depth or any kind of dynamic posing, and in fact it's possible that certain things are terribly off, but honestly, I didn't even expect it to turn out as good as it did due to ZX Spectrum's brutal color usage limitations and ArtStudio being a giant turd.

I really need to obtain a tiny old CRT TV, a real ZX Spectrum to draw on, and a cassette player - the new, high-quality screens and instant-load tech is just a shitty substitute for the sheer awesomeness and nostalgia of the original Speccy: )
Anyway - glad so many people liked this thing - thanks guys!
Yeah - I know - I might try to fix that arm, as it's a purely technical issue. Larger issues, like lack of dynamic posing which is a consequence of the piece being drawn without any planning will probably have to stay
