My last work is under revision so I decided to do another one better while respecting the criterias for pixel art to the letter

again, it's scaled down (without filtering), the original is in the detail file and is 192 x 128

references: none
tools used: pen
soft: promotion 6.0

I hope you'll enjoy it :)
and don't worry, I'll stop drawing apples, hehe.

Actually, I'll probably go back to a less realistic feel for a while.

It sure is fun, but man is it draining!

love it, but cant help but think the pallette is in excess

antymattar (Level 2 Kukyu) @ 4/11/2010 12:46

189 colours?!

That glass looks very realistic.

Nice job. I didn't watch the video but blocking out colors at higher resolution and re-scaling is a good way to get the composition right. Good job with the glass.

Wow. I love how you use unique colors when you draw something new, and then you change it to the correct colors.

For those who are interested,
I posted the screen recording for this one on youtube,

you can check it out here:

Don't worry, I didn't take offense
using MSPaint would be an efficient way to (almost) quaranty that no dirty tools where used.

I'll try and edit the video as soon as I can and put it on youtube or what not :)

Actually, I recorded myself doing this one, it's roughly 8 hours long.
So, I'll need to cut it in parts, speed it up and upload it somewhere.
You'll be able to judge if it's doable in MSPain or not on your own.

Sure, why not, do you have any theme or request?

Realistic pixel-art. Good work.

Great job on the cup.

Stickman (Level 7 Sheriff) @ 1/25/2009 05:41
Nice work. Although the colour count is a little high.

asukicco (Level 9 Necrophiliac) @ 1/25/2009 03:18
Awesome work on the glass! I'm impressed.

I think you're right,
I noticed it right after uploading it

I guess I was too anxious to see it finished
I'll touch it up on my pc for sure but I wouldn't want to flood my gallery with dup's

Hydronium (Level 3 Enforcer) @ 1/24/2009 18:58
The glass is great, but I think the apples could use a little more work. A little more AAing could go a long way.
