These are quite nice. That AA you used hovewer is off in my opinion. I think making them without AA would be a better option.

I like them, the shade of yellow seems a bit off but I can't put my finger on it.
Oh, and long live Humongous (or whatever they sold themselves to now). Pajama Sam was awesome.

simple, but I like em'. I like the idea of the slightly off-center look. Makes me think of a forum for comics or something.
