Thanks for the compliment. It's been a while since I actually did anything remotely like this in pixels because it seems a counter-productive medium for this sort of stuff, but you can always follow my stuff on deviantART (:
Could be. Or it could be his newlife unfolding, in the shape of an egg. Or it could be the world, twitching with new things, amazing and bizarre, or it could be your mind after facing so much information...
I really wouldn't like to dictate what it is. My favourite description is that of life unfolding, but y'know, to each its own and it's most definetely not the only/right/true explanation :)
EDIT: For instance, I posted this on a brazillian pixel-art forum, and one of its users said that, to him, it represents "Two cars crash in a junkyard, inside the pink one there's a boi-tata [a brazillian folklore mythical creature], while on the other there's an alien, while a crane comes to pick 'em up". It's a valid take on the image as any other.
A car crash I was in. It was caused by a diabetic guy who was having a hipoglycemic crisis so strong, he lost his mind. Turns out he didn't really want to accept his condition. He had already hit two cars before my mom's, and fled after hitting us, hitting four more cars before the police caught him.
Funny thing is, he was alledgely on his way to the hospital to solve the problem, his car filled with those lil needles for checking your glycemic index. My mom, who was driving me home, is a diabetic too, so it was all quite interesting. I can't really say I thought of having stuff in the picture representing those facts...it was more like putting feelings into it, presumptuous as it may sound.
Oh well...there goes my plan of not explaining much on this.
