Was going to animate this for fighting game project only to be informed that it was a Guilty-Gear styled weapon fighting game and not martial arts. Her right arm's kinda messed up (among other things, I'm sure), but...meh.

Character design by Cat Noir.

I love how the shadowing is done. Pretty nice!

user
AvrDragon (Level 1 Rookie) @ 1/12/2012 15:21

 leg 2 fat

user
Kittygurl521 (Level 2 Dealer) @ 1/3/2012 17:48

Those legs are superbly done. I dunno about the white background though. As for her right arm, I think it's mainly the sleeve-like article that's making it look too long?

user
md7x (Level 1 Private) @ 2/19/2010 12:48

thats awsome ive been trying to make my own sprites but its been slow lately

user
Cherry Blossom (Level 4 Mercenary) @ 6/24/2009 19:36

Way amazing, and I love the design!

user
The Woolfe (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/17/2009 23:49
Very nicely done!

user
funcravers (Level 2 Hired Gun) @ 2/11/2009 16:34
If iots for a video game I really don't think color count matters much. (Unless the players have like 206mb of RAM :P)

user
DanielHyaku (Level 4 Button Man) @ 2/11/2009 10:21
Hot. Too many colours though =X

user
hotnikkelz (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/10/2009 19:41
That left leg is SUPERBLY done. Too many colours i think though.

user
006 (Level 2 Corporal) @ 2/10/2009 00:43
Nice, I like this piece.

user
Pik (Level 3 Private Eye) @ 2/9/2009 13:26
Reminds me of Tyvon's style, just smoother.

user
blueleds (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/9/2009 07:18
She's very cool, and very bad-ass :) The only thing that striked me as missing, upon closer inspection, was a belt buckle (at her waist).

user
zi-double (Level 9 Necrophiliac) @ 2/9/2009 05:28
very sexy ... I dislike only her right leg!

user
Broli (Level 3 Private Eye) @ 2/8/2009 20:28
Thanks for cleaning up the banding problems. It looks much better now. I would love to see this animated. It screams animation. Anyways, line art is great and the colors are very nice. Good job.

user
Punika (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/8/2009 19:14
AA is useless if the lineart looks as hawt as this one ^^

user
lap1994 (Level 2 Hired Gun) @ 2/8/2009 15:57
=/ Hey, no transparency. Whats the thing with the AA? The lighting is a bit weird. I cant say from where its coming from.

user
Larwick (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 2/8/2009 08:52
Nice legs...

user
Gizmonicgamer (Level 4 Deputy) @ 2/6/2009 16:59
This is excellent; the only real complaint I may have is that there seems to be a little too much AA going on. But thats a pretty minor complaint and only really noticable if you look at it up close.l

marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/6/2009 14:11

Great comments and tips.

Lengthened the right arm and addressed some of the banding concerns. Didn't realise it was so reviled a practice like pillow-shading, but I can sort of see it now. To tell the truth, I was trying to do a little of what they did with the KOF XII sprites. Meh, that's life.

user
xXHalfieXx (Level 4 Lieutenant) @ 2/4/2009 22:12
That's great!

user
Adarias (Level 11 Bonsai) @ 2/4/2009 19:21
it's been mentioned, but the banding is epic here.  and it's not just the one leg, but both, and a little on the oblique.  otherise this is a great piece you've got going :D

user
PaoloVictor (Level 3 Enforcer) @ 2/4/2009 16:00
oh god

genius.

user
chanfan (Level 7 Underboss) @ 2/4/2009 14:09

Awesome piece.. You should clean up the lines on the piece of fabric hanging from her hip.
You should probably try to reduce the amout of colors if you intend to animate it.
Also as dogmeat mentioned, the staggered effect on the left leg destroys the overall great look of this sprite.
But like I said, overall it's great.

user
Tapiokaman (Level 2 Quiet One) @ 2/4/2009 13:42
Wow, like it ^_^ Isn't her right arm a little short? Anyway, it's a great job :)

user
Stickman (Level 7 Sheriff) @ 2/4/2009 12:49
Nice indeed!
Very nicely rendered especially on her front leg.

user
sapphira83 (Level 4 Button Man) @ 2/4/2009 12:44
very hot. won't hold it against ya;-)

user
Monobi (Level 1 Intern) @ 2/4/2009 12:43
Wow! The colors and shading are amazing! Not to mention the pose and... well everything! Brilliant job! +fav

user
marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/4/2009 12:17

Awesome! Thanks.

user
marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/4/2009 12:17
Ah. Now I see what you mean...

user
Tyvon (Level 2 Kukyu) @ 2/4/2009 04:55
Oh wow, this is grand.

user
Hapiel (Level 11 Bonsai) @ 2/4/2009 01:20
Great sprite! You can also make this transparent without having to download anything on www.iaza.com

user
skooba-dude (Level 8 Guerrilla) @ 2/3/2009 20:51
Holy cow, this sprite is pretty awesome, pleeeaaase change preview so it can be allowed into gallery.

user
Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 2/3/2009 19:10
yes but PJ doesnt allow non-Pixelart image in neither the Preview or in the Detail image.

user
Shiru (Level 6 SWAT) @ 2/3/2009 18:49
The sprite is great, but preview is actually NPA, because it resized with filtering.

user
marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/3/2009 18:18

Perhaps. And I'd definately do that with a larger picture that had more to it, but with this one I want people to be able to see the fight stance and that.

user
Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 2/3/2009 16:37
instead of using a Resized version, crop part of the original and use that for the Preview. you'll get far better presentation of your piece.

user
marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/3/2009 14:30
Cool. Thanks, I'll try that.

user
A.B. Lazer (Level 3 Private Eye) @ 2/3/2009 14:03

Wow, what system this project is on? Wonder how you get with animating this with such detailed rendering. There are some little things to complain but I would not because I'm shure you see them. And for transparency of static gifs go for:

http://www.irfanview.com/

user
Antiboton (Level 8 Odds and Ends) @ 2/3/2009 13:58

With an image editor or any gif animator cause in Paint is a little bit complicated.

I use Gif Move Gear, it's so good.

user
marsonite (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/3/2009 13:42

Uh, thanks.

How do I make it transparent?

user
Antiboton (Level 8 Odds and Ends) @ 2/3/2009 13:41
One more time: I prefer transparent BGs. But this gir is hot and the work is nice.
