I took a lot of liberties with the design of King Koopa for his redraw. Basically made him a horned lizard with a green shell and tufts of red hair. Took ages to draw, but I'm happy with how it came out. Surprisingly, has the lowest color palette of any of the characters in the series so far.

Good depth on the head and body. I think the shell could be better, and its left leg and tail almost seem to be at a different viewing angle than the shell. The black bands were a nice touch.
