Something is off about the outlining.

It's like banding but you are using different hues ...

Is the ear placement right? Feels like his right cheek is too far in. Nice work otherwise.

I'm reworking on the preview and I think I will follow your suggestion, I'd like to revisit even the frame and the title the japanese kanji...

i'd say, use outlines of diverse thickness to match the "drawing" feel.
