Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the comment, and that I read your interview. It was great! You're an amazing pixel artist and I envy your ability to use such small palettes and yet have such smooth images. I love what you did with the palette in this one especially.

I thought this piece was quite beautiful. I enjoyed the gradations along the front surface of the creature, and the sort of abstract expressionist / peacock feather blops in the background.

This one is looking pretty awesome. Looks as if someone ate loads of rainbows, puked them (in a good way!) and he came out of that.
As for crits, maybe you could make the bottom of the top hat flatter, and smoother around the curved edges.
Other than that, pretty nice.
I really like how you blend blues and oranges (That blue you picked looks awesome, by the way).

Wait, this used a restricted palette!? :PI agree with your comment about the black space at the top. Maybe you could try moving the top part down a cople of pixels. I think it could really improve the composition.
