Top Pixel Art - February 2009 (#6)
It was spectacular this pixel art, I loved the effect of fire, the colors, texture and general sense of pixel art.
God damn it. Why every time I see you pixels i think why it wasnt me who created it... Pure awesomness! 5/5 as always

The robot is my favourite of the three panels, but I do love the pose of the mummy monster putting firewood into the chimney.
personally i would wanted this to be the #1 pixel, i like it much bette than the current one.. pity.. :E
I love how the snow looks like gears in the robot one.
How can a closet monster be so endearing? Fool breaks ALL the rules! ;)

Mathias, yes it's santa's foot, and ufo just crashed in for cristmas.=) Theme contains things that mentioned (in Secret santa thread on Pixelation) as favorite to Surt, who happens to be my partner for the event .
Myke, you need homebrew cartrige and with this stuff you may turn your nds into cute little handheld.

When watch your works always ask question what is more important techique or good idea and always can't reach answer - yep your technique and colours ets are great, but I always was surpized from funny athmosphere which you put in all your works. Here in upper work that small mannikins with small socks waiting for christmass make me to laugh with voice. That is why I adore your works for that funny ideas and elements which you always manage.
that is just insane!!! How exactly are you able to draw with the NDS?, I must be behind with the times...didn't know you could actually do it on the handheld...but that is some crazy stuff you have done there...Tops!!!

Is that Santa's foot burning in the left lower image, in top half of whole image? What's up with the UFO crashed into the chimney? I love how you pixeled the mantle clock and part of the fireplace large on left and smaller on right. Pixel art mipmapping!
Thumbnail is clever. Thanks for the WIP - it's crazy how much effort you put into the scene's structure just to repositione everything a few times, in search of perfection.

Though, it's difficult to view this piece for too long - It's like... an overload of sexy.
The amount of detail and contrast you are able to produce with 16 colors never ceases to amaze me.

That just may be the best designed robot ever. Pixels or not. It looks like the offspring of the Iron Giant and a Transformer but better than both. And the mechanical snowflakes are genius.
Rabbit slippers. Nice. But the comic text bubbles spoil that one just a little bit.
Awesome as usual, I love the robot but the backgrounds a little basic in that one. The top one's hillarious, love it. Anyways, Fav'd!

Fool's running out of room for trophies anyway, it'll soon take several minutes just to load them all.

Loved these when I first saw them, love them now. That monochrome +1 ramp works great for the fireplace scene. Also like that you took a comicbook approach,

Top is a gift for the Surt . 16 colors+1 black for bg. Sketched it on my NDS in Colors! Some fun, ah..=) Although not very familiar with dark fantasy and hard sci-fi genres, but hope i've got pretty close on that.

Bottom left - for AdamAtomic. Got a spark from his descriptions "robots - big or small"=) 19 colors
