Oh that's awesome :) Only he doesn't look like a dark mage anymore. I think it's the removal  of the black bg and the color changes. still really nice. *kudos*

Oh you're both right about these colors! I stuck to what I did for the challenge, but it was wrong. Thanks a lot for the design of the orb, I will work on it!

How about something more like this for the orb? Right now there is major banding on the orb and it doesn't really help to indicate that it's a sphere.

The stripes on the mask suffer from banding, and you're using waaay more colors than you need on the orange orb and the red lining; you would do better to cut out some of those colors and use the ones remaining a little more carefully.  Overall, though, I like it, especially the definition on the folds.  Did you use any reference for this?

I did it by hand, but there is some places which I'm not satisfied with...

Pretty nice, but umm... did you do all the dithering by your self or did some program do it gor you?
