Kiwi, you need to read the comments. It's AAING, not pillowshading.

It is pillow shaded around the torso, the backs of the boots and the face, Maybe try outlining the character so you can remove the background.

Looks pretty cool, but although there is quite frankly no pillowshading, the lack of a lightsource thereof takes off of this piece. Otherwise nice.

First off, it's AA, not pillow shading, second, the black background is to make up for the fact that there is no actual background to work with the AA. Otherwise, the AA would work against it.

With a clear or transparet BG should look better. And maye more shadows with no pillow effect.
