Not sure about the lighting thing, tho. Having each of the statues lit a bit differently seems kinda weird.

Link was originally made to be animated (Theres like 8 frames of rough animation for him) but I scrapped the idea and just placed him in the dungeon. Which is my reason for him not being as detailed as the background.
Holy s**t! I love this! The lighting is excellent and I actually like how Link stands out a bit ... I don't like when the player/character gets lost in the background too much!
MdNight17 commented on it, and I TOTALLY agree ... your preview images does NOTHING to show how cool this image is!! I definitely would update it.
That would make such a bad ass game, if only the link were shaded better, compared to the rest of it I mean.
I really like the idea, but my favourite part is the attention to lighting detail. It gives a ton of atmosphere to this piece that we never otherwise would have experienced. The fact that you have the lighting on the bottom left wall (despite the fact that we don't see the actual torches[yet we know what they look like]) really adds to the illusion of the experience.
Look really good, but that preview doesn't give justice to the piece might want to change it
I think everything else is collectively better than the Link sprite, but it's all good.
