The hero character of my RPG project, Nova Hunters X (pronounced Nova Hunters Cross) and the portrait style used in the menus.

Nova Hunters X is going to be a combination Active Time Battle/Real-Time Action RPG game. Most of the gameplay mechanics have already been confirmed and sketched out, I just need to find a programmer and flesh out the storyline and I should be good. Keep your eyes open.

The sprite is a brainstorm of the overworld style, although I'm probably going to aim for a more hi-def style so I wouldn't consider it final in the least.

 Generally nice portrait, but some parts (the neck for example) look over AA'd, giving them a blurry effect. This effect clashes with the otherwise crisp vector style of the piece. Just something to think about....

Also, in getting rid of the blur, you could eliminate several unnecessary colors you have here, especially grays.
