A "gap in the palette" makes contrast, and that's exactly what an explotion SHOULD have <_<

And now I want to crit for once : D The N in "NOSE" is NOT very clear, dear.

It looks nice. The only huge gap in your palette is the one between brown and orange. Otherwise the colors work quite well.
