Try toning down the highlights on the walls, and try making the metal on the floor lighter. It's also usually a good idea to add in a physical object defining the change. Maybe try making the bottom of the wall covered in moss and the metal parts at the bottom rusty? I think it has a lot of potential to be really good.

I noticed that, too. I think if you were to place more vegetation or something where the wall and floor meet, it would look better. As it is, the two kinda blend together.

It looks very flat in the sense that it took my eyes more than a second to read the fact it wasn't a wall, but a wall and a floor.
