Yeah, you're right. I think I over-exaggerated the shoulders to try and get the effect of a strong body type. I mean, for one, these aren't supposed to be human, just humanoid. But even if they were human, I wanted her to look very built since they're a species that needs to have some muscle. But they do look like man shoulders no matter what my excuse, so it's something I'll work on in the future if I pixel more muscular women.

Heh, I was actually gonna put a menu there too, but I eventually decided not to. Probably because I was lazy than for any other reason.

ya the females shoulders are kind of wide but if shes supposed to be like a cyclopean female body builder it works fine.  It might be cool to include some sort of little menu in the lower right if you were really pushing for a pokemon parody, but maybe not, it just seems a little empty over there to me.  I also just noticed the guy's chest looks like a bearded man's face, thats cool.
