Cyclops :: Pixel Art Detail

Its a good idea but...idea wont do, its not good, you can do better than that.

It would be cool if the cyclop would hold a candle in right arm and with left arm would put his finger on his mouth and do shhhh, you know what I mean...just mine suggestion.

It's really simple.. The idea is good, but you could've worked some more on this.

I personally even find it not subtle enough, it started as an idea to only do an eye, but after I figured it was way to large, I made the eye smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and then the canvas was so empty I added the rest.

A good idea but, as has been previously stated, a little too simplistic. Maybe try a lightsource over to one side of the character so at least one side of the face is fully lit.

I also think that the effect is a little TOO subtle, not a whole lot going on here, you could hardly make out it's a humanoid head.

To be honest I don't think this is very good. It looks like the eye someone who has never drawn before would produce (http://www.blazemonger.com/gg/pix/misc/Giant-kid.gif). The shape is a perfect almond, which is not what an eye looks like (even a cyclops eye). Then, the iris is not round, which shows a lack of attention to detail. Finally, the bottom eyelashes are drawn one by one, all spaced apart. Based on some of your other stuff I think you can do much better.

Also, why not draw the rest of the head?
